Rechargeable 900mAh Li-ion Battery Application to Portable Neck Fan
A major drawback of using a neck fan is its inability to direct the airflow to a specific area. To address this limitation, we developed a detachable neck fan. Although the design process was not challenging, the production phase proved to be inefficient. Nevertheless, we persisted in creating a detachable fan, and now both the left and right components can be easily removed and reassembled. The portable neck fan was powered by two pieces of 900mAh Li-ion battery, which were put into each side, symmetrical design for aesthetics and balanced weight.
Neck fans can get quite dirty and unpleasant due to sweat. Fortunately, this portable fan’s neckband is made of elastic and durable materials. Even if it gets dirty, you can easily wash it. When cleaning, make sure to separate the body from the neckband. The neckband is composed of a flexible material called TPE, which is both durable and simple to clean. The neckband material has completed the harmful substance test with TPE and consists only of harmless materials in the human body.
Introducing the world’s only wearable fan with a magnetic fastener. This innovative design ensures that the neck fan remains securely attached even during rough movements such as running, boxing, and performing acrobatics like front and backflips. Unlike other neck fans that can bump into your collarbone and cause discomfort, this fan stays firmly in place and won’t fall off even if you’re hanging upside down while climbing.
The neck fan weighs approximately 170g, just slightly more than a shirt. Its weight is distributed evenly using magnets, making it feel even lighter. Similar to wearing a T-shirt, you won’t feel the weight because of this distribution. Initially, you may feel the weight, but after a short period of wearing and adjusting, it becomes unnoticeable. The fan’s lightness is due to two rechargeable li-ion batteries with a high capacity of 900mAh, yet still light in weight.
You can use this neck fan while charging using a dedicated dual cable. It has two 900mAh Li-ion batteries built-in, but you can also take the battery out and use it with a power bank connected. Doing so will reduce the weight to just 123g, which can be helpful if you need to be outside for an extended period since even a weight of 170g can be burdensome.
